Miss Yusi was born in Cuba and moved to Tampa in 2008. She has worked in early childhood education for more than eight years. Miss Yusi has been a part of The Learning Center family for the past five years where she became a lead teacher in the Two-Year-Old Classroom. She has a passion for working with children and strives to help them learn through a solid foundation and great experiences, while building self-confidence and autonomy.
In 2013, she completed her Child Development Associate credential. In addition, Miss Yusi regularly attends a variety of professional development trainings and seminars that enhance her skills and abilities to create meaningful interactions and develop engaging environments for young children. She also played an integral part in The Learning Center receiving its first 5 Star Award in 2014, and continues to support the highest quality standards in early childhood.
Miss Yusi is a wife and mother of two wonderful daughters–Shelia and Sharian. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves to read.
