Miss Missy has been a teacher at The Learning Center since 2009 and is a lead teacher in the Dragonfly Classroom. She has always had a passion for working with young children and loves having the opportunity to build relationships with the children and their families.
Miss Missy has her Child Development Associate credential and is currently working towards completion of her A.A. Degree in Early Childhood Development. In addition, Miss Missy regularly attends a variety of professional development trainings that focus on meaningful interactions and developing engaging environments where children learn through their play. Missy played an integral part in The Learning Center receiving its first 5 Star Award in 2014, and continues to support the highest quality standards in early childhood.
Miss Missy spends most of her free time with family and enjoys doing many different outdoor activities, like kayaking, ziplining or just walking in the park.
