Holistic, Nature-based Early Childhood Education

Explore | Discover | Grow

The Learning Center’s mission is to enrich every aspect of a child's intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual, creative and physical development.

At The Learning Center, parents and caregivers are viewed as the most significant adults in a child’s life. We would consider it a privilege to be a partner in the early education and care of your child.

Research has proven that there is a critical link between a child's early experiences and later successes in life. Studies in early child development emphasize the importance of early experiences on children's personalities, character, value systems, social competence and academic success. The Learning Center's educators consider the whole child when planning learning experiences and activities. Teachers inspire children by providing opportunities for exploration, experimentation and discovery. When teachers partner with parents and caregivers to provide high-quality early childhood experiences, they work together to influence life-long patterns of learning.

Throughout the year, your child will grow through many stages of development. They will make new friends, socialize and discover self-expression and self-control. Weekly lesson plans will be posted in classrooms, describing themes and activities. We will communicate verbally, as well as, through written communication reports, memos and newsletters.

We would like to extend an invitation to visit our center. Tour our classrooms and meet our staff. Together we can plant the seeds for a cooperative partnership that will play an integral part in the educational and social development of your child.
